A few weeks ago I dreamed that I worked for Hello!Lucky, a fabulous card design company that has offices in SF and London. Having a job like that would be so cool/fun/mind-blowingly awesome!
Today I ran across their new art prints with forest/woodland themes. I love the texture and detail in the patterns and the color-coordination among the four, even though they are each designed by different designers.

I took a store snap of the fabric on a brag book at Urban Outfitters. While I think brag books are almost as lame as accessory dogs, this pattern is really cute.

Pantone, the global authority on color and provider of professional color standards for the design industries (and collaborator on these awesome phones I saw in Japan), released the super-interesting Pantone Fashion Color Report Spring 2009. The report features the top ten colors for women’s fashion for spring ’09, along with cool designer sketches (like this one) for each color. Read the article here.
We’re taking inspiration from this list for our three new city guide books at work. Not sure if I’m allowed to leak the colors we picked!
